NAPIER.
This day. Mr Clark, manager of the South Pacific Petroleum Company, telegraphs to the Herald that an analysis for paraffin of the material found in the Coy.'s claim, made by Dixon, public analyst at Sydney, shows 30 per cent, solid paraffin—balance is composed of kerosene, 25 per cent.; intermediate oils, 14 per cent.; heavy oils, 52 per cent.; carbon and loss 11 per cent.
