AUCKLAND.
This day. Mr Macrae, the head master of the Grammar School, wrote to the Board of GoTernors stating that unless the Her. Mr Gulliver, the English master, was removed, be would himself resign. The Governors resolved to relieve Macrae of his duties, giving him twelve month's salary, and appointing Mr Soloman to the temporary head mastership.
