Anders. Jansen, trarelling to Palmers ton North, on April 30th lost himself in the bush. He was attacked by wild cattle, and took refuge in a tree. A fog came on, and at night he completely lost himself. He supported himself on berries and roots, and turned up at Masterton on Tuesday, being directed to the township by hearing the cocks crowing. He weighed thirteen stone when he lost himself, and was reduced to seven stone. He was taken on Woodville, where he it being taken erery care of.
This day. Judge Kenny yesterday intimated that the Union Company had refused to pay costs as ordered by the Court in the inquiry, into the Boojam and Sir Donald collision. He alao stated that there was a $iv stion whether the Coutrt had power to make an ord/r against the Union Com.* pany, who. were not officially, before the Court; but he would like to heat argu> mentfl from the counsel engaged. Finally Tuesday was fixed for the argument.
