It has transpired that at a Cabinet Council beld yesterday, it was decided to accept the Jieform Bill, as returned by the Lejjislatire Council subject to £20 rating qualification For occupiers and some other modifications being adopted. The Hon. Graham Berry made a speech last night, in which in referring to the decision of, the Cabinet, he said that the acceptance of the LegislatiVe Council's amendments would not, he feared, bring about the final settlement of the Reform question.

Albany, May 16. The Cruise -of it&e Bachaate-

The Royal Princes, H.M.S. Bachante, with the Princes Albert Victor and George of Wales on board, arrived in King George's Sound to day with her rudder disabled. She parted company with the detached squadron on Thursday last, the 12th inst

Albany, Monday,

The Royal Princes are in good health. No casualties occurred on board the Bachaute during the storm which she ex perienced on the 11th and 12th instants. The following information has been supplied by the officers of the Teasel: — After leaving the Cape the detached squadron met with favorable weather until Wednesday last, the 11th inst., when the wind freshened and increased to a heavy gale during the night. On Thurs day morning a heavy sea struck the Bachante, carrying away one of the lifeboats, and at midday another sea broke aboard, disabling the steering gear. A jury rudder was rigged, and the Bachante made for King George's Sound to repair damages. She leaves as soon as y ssible for Cape Otway, where the squadron rendezvous on the 19th instant.
