THE FEVER CASE.

(To the Editor of the Evening Star.) Sib,— l am surprised that the case of fever that has occurred in my house shouldv*« v continually reported and com ._ mented on i^ our daily papers, thereby CMuinc unnecessary alarm and isolation. 'The rai«eflse-i)as ceased being infectious .this last month, and this is affirmed by two medifal gentlemen. I beg also to contradict a statement appearing in last night's Star ; the person referred to has ■ not Kotthe fever by coming to see my child, bat is still following her usual occupation. There seems to be some design in bringing the case of my little child bo often before the public notice ; if doctors disagree, the.patient ought not to suffer in. consequence, as was the case with toy child, who was neglected when in a most precarious state. There are :. many false statements in circulation, which ought to be contradicted.—l am, &c, - Moses Ensob.
