The report of the manager, of thia mine to the directors is as follows :—" I beK.*° forward the following report: Since the last crushing, I have been stoping out the block abore No. 2 intermediate level on ■ the hangingwall leader. I have broken through to the Whau level with one of the stopes. When the block is worked . out, I will start to take out the main lode aboVe the No. 2 intermediate level, and the block on the hangHfUfwall Jeader, between the two intermediate levels, which i# 60 feet in height by 103 feet in length. I have started a crosscut from.the No. 1 intermediate level.for Christy's specimen leader. We have driven 25 feet, and will have to drive 40 more before we cut it.
When cut we will have a large block of
350 feet in length by 90 feet in height to H»e Whau lerel. I hare on hand about 25 loads of quartz, and will start crushing again next week.
