The series of colonial wool auctions commenced to-day. There was a good attendance of Home and Foreign buyers. The opsuing dialogue comprised 52,000 bales. The bidding was animated, and the crossbreds ruled one halfpeuny to one panny per pound lower than the closing rates of the last sales.
