This day,

Fisher's coal and wood sheds were destroyed by fire at 9.30 last night. The fire had a gcrd hold n hen it was discovered, and a. strong wind' blowing, the buildings were soon levelled to the ground. The engines, two horses, two carts, and a large quantity of fuel were a Iso destroyed. The sawmill adjoining, end several cottages in the neighbourhood had a narrow escape. -The' buildings were insured for £200 in the Union office. No clue to the origin of the fire.
