PORT CHALMERS.
Yesterday.
Captain McCallum has just received a telegram from the Heads stating that the Peruvian barque, Fray Beutos is anchored outside the heads in six fathoms of water. Pilot Patchon is on board, but the captain v* ill do nothing for him. He will neither shift out nor in for the safety of the ship is in danger. Coxwain Milne requests Captain McCallum to communicate with the agents.
A signal has been run up from the Fray Beutos to the effect that someone has been drowned.
