Fevers which so quickly fasten on the debilitated system may easily be kept awat by the timely use of this ISF" MOST WONDERFUL REMEDY jg» In fact, by. its use the Most Malignant of Tropical Fevers have been ejected from the Human System, and by its aid Dying, Fever-stricken Men have been, as it were, EAISBD FEOM THE DEAD ! As is shown from the following interesting TALE OF THE PACIFIC! A TALE OF THE PACIFIC, . Wm. Opperman, Esq., a wealthy island trader, was for pome months lying ill at Happemamma, an island of the Eingsm § Group, in the Pacific. He had been seized' with rheumatic fever, which was followed by complicated disorders of a terribly, severe nature, assuming the forth of a species ot palsy never before known. The sufferer's. limbs swelled, the legs lost all sensibility to pain ; the foot could be wrenched round or the Bkin pierced with a lance without in flicting the slightest suffering. The sick man was evidently unconscious of his having legs, and his brain was seriously affected as if with lunacy. In this deplorable state he was kindly brought from the islands to Auck land by Mr H. Henderson in the schooner Coronet, Captain Moeller, and, being a German, he was received by the G-erman Consul, Ot. Yon der Heyde, Esq., and placed in the District Hospital, where he received treatment for three weeks with no indication of improvement, his case being pronounced by one and all a hopeless one. The captain of the Coronet, knowing that extraordinary cures .had been effected by the use of Hitcbens' Celebrated! Blood Restorer requested the proprietor of the Blood Restorer to take the case in hand, and a contract was entered into of "No cure, no pay." Mr Hitchens proceeded to the Hospital, examined the invalid and found him in an apparently. dying state, with scarcely a spark of life left. Mr Hitcbeng ordered the suffering man to be removed to his (Mr H's) private residence, where his wants could be personally attended to by Mr Hitchens. The latter administered the medicine (the Blood Restorer) and used the ointment freely. Meanwhile clergymen called, the case beyond the power of man to effect a cure. However after six weeks the effect of the medicine became wonderfully apparent. The Blood Restorer had acted steadily but surely »n the blood; the deadly impurities were gradually eliminated from the system until the stream of life flowed unchecked in its natural channels over-the. entire man. The brain became clear and active, and the limbs once again rejoiced in natural circulation, the patient rising to his feet cured of diseases which had baffled the skill of leading physicians, a living proof of the wonderful healing powers of Hitchens' Celebrated Blood Restorer. * TESTIMONIAL. Auckland, N.Z. To H. A. H. Hitchens, Esq. Before leaving Auckland on my return voyage to the Islands, I have to perform the pleasing duty of acknowledging the surprising cnre I have received .at your hands. Coming to Auckland aa I did a dying iootL being palsied and generally unconscious, ana hearing from others that no hope of recovery was held out by medical men, I look upon you now as the preserver of my life. I am convinced that to your medicine alone is due' the credit* for my now being a living man. I beg to thank you most sincerely for the kindness ; you haye shewn me while staying in your house,] and in conclusion would earnestly recommend sick people to use ydur Blood Restorer, aslt'is the moat extraordinary purifier of the blood I ever heard of, or met with in my travels. It is one of the many good gifts of a beneficent Creator to hia suffering children on this earth. W. OPPERMAN. Auckland, December 19,1879. Signed in the presence of G.
