A PPLICATION has been made by Wftf J\. xiam Henbx Shabbatt for a license to construct a water race for gold mining pur* poses at Tararu Creek, commencing at a point at the falls.at junction of Ohio and Tararu Creeks, and terminating ab a' peg marked H, as shown on plan lodged with "application. The length of, such race is two hundred yards, or thereabouts, and its intended course is north and 'south.
