The Jockey Club annual meeting was held yesterday, when Captain Russell was re-elected President—The receipts were stated to have been £2446 7s 3d, and after paying all liabilities there was a balance of £79 in the bank. The expenditure included improvements to the stand and course, £1342; spring meeting, £481; autumn meeting, £1342. A vote of thanks and a gratuity was passed to the secretary. It was decided to erect a stand outside the paddocks, and to effect other improvements.
