ONE BOY ACCIDENTLY SHOOTS ANOTHER.

On Saturday one of the most lamentable affairs that has ever taken place in the Ohinemuri district occurred at Te Puke, near Paeroa. It appears that a number of boys, whose ages varied from 11 to 17, were out shooting, and one named Walter Ritchie, the son of the district schoolmaster, got in young Lipsey's line of fire, and had his brains blown out. Much sympathy is felt for the relations of the unfortunate lad, one of whose brothers is lying in a critical state in the Thames Hospital.
