Adelaide, This day. A six days' pedestrian tournament was finished here on Saturday night. Edwards walked the greatest distance—4sl miles, Swan, of New Zealand, coming next with 423 miles, Both men did their distances easily.
Sydney, Monday. Chinese Immigration. The Union Company's steamship Hero, which left here on Saturday last for New Zealand, took 380 Chinese.
The steamer Brisbane, which was guaranteed at Cooktown for small pox, is now on her way here with 350 Chinese.
