Bismarck.—First-class crushing stuff was obtained from the stopes yesterday. There is every prospect of the mine turning out as in days of old.
Golden Belt (Tiki). —Some very rich specimens were obtained yesterday, and sent to Auckland to-day. Shares feere j are 10s and no sellers. Success Mine.—A rich patch of good specimens has been obtained, and there was a first rate show in the leader yesterday. Tenders for carting of the battery were opened this morning. There was only one Coromandel tender, at £400, which was not accepted. It is likely Auckland people will have to convey the machinery. New Golden Pah.—The manager states that he got good gold yesterday, with a prospect of more, as gold is showing in the face. Mellisop's tribute in the Corby. Result of crushing, 46ozs from 6 tons of stuff. Various claims at the Tiki are getting out good gold. A large number of prospectors came down last night.
