DUNEDIN.

This day. Early on Thursday morning a sixroomed house at Green Island belonging to G-eorge Wallace was destroyed by fire. It was insured in the Victoria office for £160. Mr Wallace estimates the value of tbe tenement at £120 above that amount. As the place was unoccupied for six weeks it is supposed the fire was a work of incendiarism.
