AUCKLAND.
This day. Two slight earthquake shocks were felt on Saturday at Coromandel.
Mrs Rayntom, the wife of settler in the Waikato, was standing on the train platform, when a jerk threw her off. She clang to the carriage, but was thrown clear of the track, and when picked up her jawbone was found to be shattered, and one side of her body injured. It is feared she will not recover.
