Wednesday,
Thomas Fisher, for indecent assault, was sentenced to nine months' imprisonment.
The Judge refused Stout's application in Gard's case for appeal, and the Court sentenced prisoner to 12 months' hard labor.
Charles Fowler, convicted of stealing from a dwelling, was sent to gaol for four years. The shop of Mr A. Dawson, of Kaikora, has been burned down. It was insured in the National for £170.
