Volunteer Notices DISTRICT AND REGIMENTAL ORDERS. THE following ORDERS are for the guidance of the Thames Corps about to proceed to the Encampment at Te Awamutu :— 1. The' Hnuruki Engineers, Scottish Bat* tulion, Native Volunteers, and Naval Brigade, will, for the occasion, form the Thames Battalion 2., The Staff will consist of Major Murray, in command; Captain. Small, as Senior Major; Captain Wildman, Junior Major ; Adjutant Schofield, as Adjutant; Sergeant-Mojor Scott, of the Scottish, ns Battalion Serpeaut Major : Quarter-master Sergeant Morrison will be in charge of the rear guard ; Sergeant Wilson, Orderly Room Serceant ; Sergeant Robinson, Provost Sergeant. 3. The several Companies will parade in marching order, opposite the Pacific Horel, at fi a.m. on Friday, the 15th of April, for embarkation on Rotomahana. On arilviil at the railway wharf, Auckland, a special train will be in readiness forTe Awarautu. Each man will require to provide himself with a half day's cooked rations. 4. Officers commanding Companies will detail two men each for the baggage guard, under Quartermaster Sergeant Moivieon. 5. A regimental 12 hour guard will be mounted and sentries posted immediately upon arrival at the Camp; other guards .and picquets as here- ■ after may be appointed. The guards will be furnished in rotation by the several Companies, beginning with No. 1. 6. Hours for guard mounting and appointment or orderly officers will be made after, arriral in Camp, and by orders from Colonel Lyon. 7. The Battalion will return in two trains, leaving Te Awamutu sharp at 9.15 and 930 on Monday evening. The Rotomahana will start for the Thames on arrival of the .Battalion in- Auckland. 8. All Volunteers must be in Uniform, and must travel by the trains specially set apart for them. 9. It is particularly requested that Officers in charge of guns and baggage will sea that no delay occurs in loading and unloading from 6teamer and train. 10.
