MOANATATRI.

The following -is the mine manager's weekly report:—Bo feet level: The south crosscut has been extended 36 feet dnring the past fortnight, and a promising leader, 6 inches thick, is now in the face, but a little broken by a band of clay. The crosscut will still be pushed forward through the Morning Star section, as there are other reefs and leaders to pick up. In stoping at this level, No. 1 leader is only 2 inches thick, yet during the past fortnight has turned out 601bs of picked stone. The stope above the 132 feet level is, I think, payable, but no stuff' has been crushed from here since breaking through for air. In the other stopes there is nothing new to mention. .Nonpareil: The bottom part of the shaft is now clear for a distance of 50 feet up, and it becomes troublesome to go up against it so as to make it secure. Point : The ground has become stiffer than it has been, but there is no other change. lam pleased to say our stuff is showing an improvement over last return.—Robert Comee."
