TIERNAN'S (COROMANDEL)
The shareholders of Harris and Tiernan's claim at Coromandel hare decided to form a company with a capital of £12,0C0, in £1 shares. The ground comprises 18vr acres, 10 acres being Mrs Mclntosh's property and 8| acres belonging "to the New Zealand Timber Co. About 40 tons of good dirt are now awaiting crushing, and the original shareholders arc resolutely holding their interests in. the mine, which has been formed into a company of £12,000 capital in £1 shares is meeting with verj encouraging prospects, while in the New Colonial claim, on the other side of the Success, two men have been put on to pick up the rich find there.
