This day. Two hundred bags of wheat belonging to Mr Gard were burned at Marawhenua.
A dining accorntnodatiou house at Whitsone was burned, but was insured for £350 in the Few Zealand, and the furniture for £300 in the United.
A stack of grain belonging to a Mr Miller was also burned at Marawhenua.
Incendiarism is becoming the terror of the farmers, and both the above grain fires are the acts of incendiaries.
