HIDDEN TREASURE.

Such is the name given to a piece of ground pegged out by Ckilderhouse and party at the head of the Karaka. It includes a portion of the old Star of Fermanagh ground, famous in the early annals of the goldfield. t The shareholders are reported to be somewhat reticent about what they have got, thought it would appear it is something good. They have had one or two specimen crushings averaging nearly an ounce per pound, and are now cutting a track to get down their general dirt.
