Turko-Greek Question.
The proposals recently made by the Porte to the ambassadors of the Powers at Constantinople to cede the island of Crete to Greece, and the settlement of Turko-Greece difficulty as announced yesterday, has been under the consideration of the Hellenic Government. After a full deliberation, the latter has. informed the; Powers that it must absolutely decline the offer of the Porte. London, March 17. A somewhat serious disturbance occurred to-day at Aldershot. A drunken Irish soldier was arrested by the police, when a number of civilian sympathisers endeavored to prevent his being taken into custody A riot ensued, and lasted for some time, but was finally quelled by fresh bodies of police arriving on the scene and overpowering the riotors, a number of whom were arrested. •
