INVERCARGILL.
This day. The Governor and suite arrived by special train at four o'clock yesterday afternoon, and were met at the station by a large crowd, the Volunteers forming a guard of honor. Advancing from the station, Sir Arthur Gordon was presented with addresses from the Invercargill Borough Council and the Southland County Council, and after he had replied thereto, three hearty cheers were given for him.
