We are informed that the Catholic Sunday School children's feast will be held this year on the festival of the patron saint of Ireland (17th March) in the Tararu Gardens under the auspices of the Christian Doctrine Confraternity. Arrangements have been made by which the children will be conveyed to the scene of the festivities on the tramway, and the H.A.C.B. Society has kindly granted the use of their .band for the occasion. The committee are indefatigable in their exertions to render the ftte as attractive for the juveniles as those previously held, and tho only desideratum, iß.fine weather to ensure the thorough success of the affair.

One of the pleasantesfc public excursions of the year is generally that to New Brighton, Miranda. We understand that one will take place on St. Patrick's Day, the proceeds to be devoted to the building fund of the Primitive Methodist Church. We have no doubt it will be well patronised.
