The following further Exhibition awards are announced .-—First order of merit: Kitchen and Sons, Wellington, aud McLeod Brothers, Duaedin, for candles ; E. H. Banks, Christchurch, and P. Cunningham and Co., Christchurch, for peas and beans. Second order of merit : G. B. Bernasoone, Wellington, for inlaid table of New Zealand woods; Guthrie and Larnaoh's Company, Dunediu, for hall door and frame of JNew Zealand woods; Geo. King and Co., Christchurch, for beans ;j E. H. Banks, Christchurch, for peas. Third order of merit: W. Wilkinson, Thames, for specimens, of printing ; Kobert Burrett, Wellington, and Government Printer, Wellington, for specimens of binding; proprietors of the Times, Christchurch, tor specimens of engraving ; Fergusson and Mitchell, Duuediu, for account books. liobert Burrett, Wellington, for engraving. Fifth Order of Merit :~JNicholson, Wellington, for sideboard of .New Zealand woods ; Paterson, Burke and Co., Dunedin, for Venetian blinds ; Austrian, ELirk and Co. (Limited), Caristchurch, for pottery. Honorable Mentions :—W. J. Greyiing, Taranaki, for tanning, dying, and medical estractj; F. Bennett, Thames, tor specimens of hematite; R. Edwards, Thames, for paints and minerals.
The barque India," bound from London to Port Pine, South Australia, has been wrecked at the Capo (sic). All lives have been saved. The following additional awards are published :—Fourth order of merit, Large and Towniey, Napier, for work table inlaid with New Zealand woods ;, Mrs Maxwell, Fernhill, Wellington, for curtains, JSfew Zealand ferns in ink ; Myers 3 Wellington, for picture frame. Sydney, This day. The cricket mutch between the Australians and combined team will be concluded tc-day.
