HAM NICHOLAS for a License to construct a Water Race for Mining purposes at Waitete, Ohinemuri, commencing at a point at the falls at Waiteto Creeps; and terminating at; a peg marked W, as shown on plan to bu lodged here within fourteen days. lY.e length of such race is about one mile and a half, and its intended course is about north and south. The mean depth and breadth of such race is eighteen inches by three feet; it is capable of carrying sis sluies heads of water, and the number of sluice heads of water of forty inches each which it iB proposed to appropriate is six. _ NO'ilOß is therefore given, that on the 28fch day of March, 1881, a.
