This company have decided to abandon their project of working the mine through the Whau level, and are negotiating with the Alburuia Company for the use of Carpenter's level. By working through this level they will materially shorten the distance they would hare to truck if they worked through the Whaul level, and consequently will not hare nearly such a length of old drives to keep in repair.
