This day
A little girl named Mary Midderton was found drowned in a well on the Benmore station on Wednesday. It is not known how she got into the water.
A fire on Buller's farm destroyed crops to the value of £50, and a threshing mill valued at £300. The threshing mill is insured in the Colonial for £250.
