The following further exhibition awards have been announced : Second order of merit—B. Petersen and Co. of Christchurch, for silver jug and cups ; John Aires of Dunedin, for model patent aerial tramway. Third order of merit—Marcus Sandstein, of Christchurch, silver epergne ; Ruschell and Co., of Christchurch, paper pulp, etc., from New Zealand flax. Fifth order of Merit—John B. Slancell of Christchurch, half stuff and papier mache, etc., from New Zealand flax. Honorably mentioned—Messrs Reid and Duncan, civil engineers of Dunedin, plan wire rope railings.
