OHINEMURI.
(from our own correspondent.)
February 20, 1880,
We cannot now complain as formely that the spiritual wants of the district were neglected, we have two ministers stationed in the district. Eev. J. T. Pinfold, Wesleyan; Mr A. T. Norrie, Presbyterian. The latter body intend giving a complimentary soiree and concert to their young pastor at an early date, when ministers and 'friends; frdnv'the Thames are expected to roll up in considerable numbers. When we mention that Mr Dewar, of Belroont, has the arrangement for the concert in hand, success is certain. We have had the pleasure of seeing the list of ladies to give tables at the soiree, and thej- are a strong and influential party, entering into the matter with energy and perseverance. Mr Norrie preaches once each Sunday in Paeroa, and takes the out districts of Te Aroha, Owharoa and Waitekauri, to fill up the day.
