Mrs Sampson's Mission.
Large audiences still continue to attend the services in the Academy of Music. The morning prayer meetings are also very numerously attended, and a great deal of earnestness is shown by those who have been benefitted by Mrs Hampson's ministrations. The address last night was upon the text, "When Thou saidst seek ye my face, my heart said, Thy face Lord willjl seek " —from the Psalms of David. In most eloquent and impressive language the speaker enlarged upon the text, and gave sound and practical advice for the guidance of all through life. The necessity of at once living up to the standard of God's Work, and the happiness that was sure to follow, was pictured, while the way of the ungodly was declared to be dangerous. Several in the congregation were greatly excited, and during the prayer meeting called out their willingness to follow in the footsteps of the Saviour, and lead a godly life. Throughout the services the greatest attention was shown to the exhortations of Mrs JEfampsou, and apparently a great deal of good has been done during her mission.
