Sydnet, This day. The Estimates were tabled in the Assembly last night, showing a total expenditure set down at £4,280,000, being an increase of £165,000. The increase is almost entirely in expenditure for education.
Pebth, Tuesday
News has been received that a cyclone of a most severe character has visited the town of Roebourne, in the north west. The colony is the site of the pearl fisheries. Twelve boats used by pearlers have been totally destroyed.
