Revivalist Services.
Mrs Hampson's services were well attended last night in the Academy of Music. In fact, even a larger building could not contain the numbers who sought ! admission. The service commenced with a hymn, "All hail the power of Jesut' name." After prayer and reading a portion of Scripture, Mrs Hampson preached from the texts taken from the third chapter of St. John's Gospel, parts ofcthe 7th and 14th verses. The address was & very forcible one, and was well delivered the earnestness of the speaker, and the fluency with which she dilated upon the 4 words of Scripture keeping the audience spell-bound. A number of persons remained after the service and aad consultations with Mrs Hampson. The early morning prayer meetings in the Gongreca; tionai Church are well attended. The services will be continued this evening in the Academy of Music. *■;.-;.■
