This day.
The Thirteenth Half-yearly Meeting of the Colonial Bank was heLL yesterday. The Chairman, Geo. McLean, congratulated the shareholders on the position of the institution. The report was adopted. Mr W. J. Larnaeh was elected director, and a vote of thanks was accorded the directors and officers ; in moving which, Mr E. B. Cargill said, -that at no distant date, the question of amalgamation with the National Sank should be considered. The Chairman, referring to the same subject, said that of course the head office would have to be in the Colony.
