Publicans Fined for Sunday Trading, At the Besident Magistrates' Court this morning, the proprietor of the Princes Theatre Hotel was fined £5 on two informations of selling liquor on Sunday. The proprietor of the Victoria Hotel for refusing to admit the police sergeant on Sunday without unnecessary delay was fined £2 and the license was endorsed. •' It has been decided that the Property Tax be payable either at the end of February or early in March. The Act requires it to be paid in two instalments for the year, but it will be necessary to have the dates for each' itt'oiety close together, in order that theiax be collected during the financial year. By the original' intention, the first moiety was due some months ago.
