The Warden left for Thames to-day. Before going he granted licenses to the Te Aroha No. 1 South and Golden Gate.
A day's races will be held bore on the 29th. £50 is already subscribed, and it is expected about £170 in prizes will be given. The Te Aroha Cup will amount to £75, and promises to be a great success.
It is likely a dinner will be given to the members of the Piako County Council whea they visit the Aroha.
