The Chimborazo has gone ashore at South East Point on Troubredge Shoal, Her grounding is attributed to the thick haze which prevailed off the coast. It ia expected that she will be able to float today. Lateb. The Chimborazo was successfully floated this morning without injury, and has proceeded to Melbourne. Queensland. The routes of the proposed Transcontinental Railway to the Gulf of Carpentaria and the grand trunk line to South Australia is from Bo ma in this colony. Beisbane, Monday. Henthorpe telegraph from Blackall that he has discovered the grave of Classan, and has also obtained evidence as to the fate of Leichardt, the explorer. Massacre of Chinese. A Chinese junk has arrived at Cook town, and reports that the crew_o£4(nV schooner Prosperity, consisting of -nine Chinese, have been slaughtered by the natives of Lencale Island, near New Guinea. The captain of the schooner
succeeded in escaping. x
