T, Davenport that he had received information to the effect that the only remedy of any service in Cholera was Chlorodyne.— See Lancet, Dec. 31, 1864. From A. Montgomery, Esq., late Inspector of Hospitals, Bombay:—" Chlorodyne is a most valuables remedy in Neuralgia, Asthma, and Dysentery. To it-'-JE fairly owe my restoration to health, after 18 months' eevcro suffering, and when otwr-remedies had failed." Dr. Lowe, Medical Missionary in India, reports (Dec. 1865) thab in nearly every case of Cholera in which Dr. J. Collis Browne's ChlerodyQe was administered the patient recovered. ' .- Extract from the General Board of Health, London, us to its efficacy in Cholera:— "Bo strongly are we convinced of the immense value of this remedy that we cannot too forcibly urge the necessity of adopting it in all caees." Sib, —I have much pleasure in bearing testimony respecting the benefits I have derived by using your Compound Syrup of Eucalyptus of Lime and Quinine. I have been a great sufferer for the last three years with chest complaint, during which time I have been under the care of skilful medical men, both in New Zealand and the neighboring colonies, but cannot say I ever ex perienced any beneficial effects from thnir treatment. Laßt summer I commenced taking your Lime Mixture, and am happy to inform you that I have been steadily improving weekly ever since—notwithstanding two or three severe colds I have had this winter— and am how almost free from complaint, and can safely say, undoubtedly it is the best medicine I have ever taken, and as a soothing expectorant it is not to be equalled. I give you my name and address, not for publication, but as a guarantee that what I state here is truthful, and should you at any time wish to refer any person to me, I shall be most happy to inform them of the benefits to be derived from a fair trial of your invaluable mixture.— I am, &c.
