The s.s. City of Sydney arrived in Auckland this morning at nine o'clock with the Australian and Sydney mails, the Thames portion of which will be delivered to-morrow morning.

At the Bangiora races on Saturday, John Kettenburg, while riding Supplejack in the Hnrdle Eace, received serious injuries. His horse fell, and rolled over him, breaking one arm and fracturing his Bkull.
