The crew of the New Ireland colonising steamer Genii have been insubordinate, alleging that they were insufficiently fed. The Captain appealed to the authorities, but they have declined to interfere, on the ground that there is no Liberal Consul here. The combined team then went in for their second innings, and when stumps were v drawn for the day they had lost four wickets for 4£j runs.
