St. Thomas of Aquin's School, Thames.
The. annual examination of this school, which lasted two days, was concluded on Thursday, and the prizes were distributed on Friday, the 24th inst., to the most meritorious:— Sixth Class, or highest—Henry J. Dod 1, John O'Sullivan 2. Thomas McEnteer special prise for mental arithmetic- sth Class—lst Division: John Connelly 1, Henry Roche 2. 2nd Division: Thomas Lawson 1, James McEnteer 2, Tim fieardon 3. 3rd Class— Ist Division: Edward. McAuley, 1; Frank Moran, 2; Martin Furlong, 3.—2nd Division: E. Noonan, 1; J. Kiesanowsky, 2; M. Wall, 3; E. Twohill, G. McAuley. 2nd Class: G. Kelly,* 1; James McCauley, 2. Ist Class—lst Division: C. Dod 1, H. Farrelly 2. 2nd Division: W. Payne 1, Dan Moran 2. Christian Doctrine: H. Dod 1. Latin: H. Dod 1, T. Dod 2. Good Behaviour: T. Dod, F. Moore. After some cheering for the Rev. Father O'Reilly, the teachers, and prizetakers, vacation was announced to begin and last for three weeks, and after the usual seasonable compliments, the pupils were dismissed.
