GREYMOUTH,
Thia day. An accident occurred on the lead at Seventeen Mile Beach this morning, by which a man named Michael Kerry lost his life. It is conjectured that the giving way of a false set of timber was the cause of the disaster. Every assistance was rendered by the miners, but life was extinct before the body could be released.
