This day. Col. Leafeie has been appointed Licensing Commissioner rice Keddel resigned. Supreme Court. At the Supreme Court John Watson for attempted suicide was discharged on his own recognisance of £10 and one surety of £10 to keep the peace for twelve months. ■ /•.•■■• Adam Leech, for receiving stolen property, was sentenced to one month. Ellison, alias Thompson, on two charges of larceny, to two years and one year, the sentences to ran concurrently. David Collins, for horse stealing, to one year. Johndimming, for forgery, three years. The charge of larceny against Geo. W. Garratt is proceeding. LiTEB. In Garrett's case the jury returned a | verdict of " not guilty."
