Thames Steamboat Company.

A meeting of gentlemen interested in the formation of the above company was held this afternoon in Mr A. Hume's offices. Mr W. Wilkinson presided, and there were also present Dr Kilgour, and Messrs Douglas, Hogg, Benshaw, Dean and Read, On the motion of Mr Bead, seconded by Mr Hogg it was resolved to rescind the resolution passed at the last meeting, forming an unlimited.company. On the motion of Mr Kenshaw, seconded by Mr Bead, it was resolved to form a company to be called the " Thames Birer Steam Navigation Company," undw the Joint Stock Companies Act, 1860. On the motion of Mr Bead, seconded by Mr Douglas, it was resolved that the number of shares be 640, and the price be £5. , v'V Some of the members were in faror of £1 shares, but the majority toted in faror of m.
