We understand that in the redistribution of portfolios in the Ministry, Mr Masters, M.H.R. for Grey Valley, will probably join the Cabinet as Minister of Mines. Wb understand that arrangements are nearly completed for the transfer of the Post Office to the Government buildings, Queen street. , ' .-■.:; ■ - -..-: .• ' Messrs B. Tonka and Co., Auckland, notify through our advertising columns that they will sell the township of Ruakaka, Te Aroha, by public auction on December 16, at their nie?t. We could not too strongly impress upon our readers the value of the land offered, and from its excellent position must undoubtedly command the attention of intending settlers, speculators and others. The lend of which the Ruakaka block is comprised is close to the auriferous lend occupied by the miners, and will undoubtedly become of great value in a short time to come. We have no doubt Mr Tonks' side will be well attended, and should advise capitalists to take advantage of the excellent chance now offered.
