SOUTHERN CROSS.
A crushing of about 30 loads of general stuff for this company was completed yes* terday at the Alburnia battery for the excellont return of 74 ounces 17dwts melted gold. A considerable portion of this parcel was obtained from the small leaders showing in the face of the hill at the back of the big pump shaft.
