Yesterday. Selina Cornocks alias Gollop for steal* ing a purse was' sentenced to a month's imprisonment. There was a tiff at the Presbytery Meeting yesterday between the Beys. Ruuciman, Carrick and McCallum. The latter writing to the Star to-day re the matter says:—" I am not to be driven into disingenuous silence by any amount of wire pulling or rough horsemanship." He left with his wife and children recently to visit the Exhibition, and was on the way back when he died. The charge of incendiarism against Bichard Owen was withdrawn. '
