The mean breadth and depth of such race is two feet by one foot. Adams, water race, commencing , ■ at a point on first creek past O'Halloran's Hotel, and pegged with a peg marked I, and terminating on south of Hot Springs boundary reserve. The length of such race is about three-quarters of a mile or thereabouts, and its intended course is about south. The mean breadth and depth of such race is twelve inches by nine inches. It is capable of carrying two sluice beads of water, and the number of sluice heads, of forty inches each, which it is proposed to appropriate, is two. Ho 3.-—Charles McLean^, water race, com» mencihg at a point on a creek believed to be called Waiongomai, situated about two and half to three miles southward from Te Areha township, and terminating below machine site in the Waihou river. The length of such race is about three miles or thereabouts, and its in- ; tended course is northerly. The mean breadth and depth of such race is three feet by two feet. It is capable of carrying six sluice heads of water, and the number of sluice heads of forty inches each, which it is proposed to, appropriate) is six. . No. 4.—James Gribble, water race commencing at a point on a creek situated about eighty or one handled chains to the eastward of United Claim, and ter- . minating at Ignited Claim. The length of such tace is one hundred chains or thereabouts, and its intended course is about east and west, and the mean tAadth and depth of such race is three f«eb wide by two fe< t.
